manic
OK, so I've been a busy little bastard. My live gig has come and gone. I guess, overall, it went alright. See, the PA set-up was late and a little problematic. Plus, I was the opening act so my set got cut short. I had a hard time concentrating due to these circumstances, but I think my playing was pretty good. I have some audio of it that I have to post eventually. Lately, I've been tracking out and delivering the other bands' sets from the Spring Fever gig.
Yeah, I wanna get into doing mobile live recording at shows. I now have all of the required gear to do the job well. I just picked up an Apple PowerBook so I'm all set. I'm really happy with GarageBand as my recording software. It totally does the job - anything else really seems like overkill. Maybe as I get into it more, I'll have the need for higher grade audio software, plus I'd be able to then justify the fucking cost of that shit. So hey, if you have a band playing in Jersey, send me an email at hex@infinitegravity.net and we'll make an arrangement. For a raw, song tracked set, it'll cost $25. For full digitally edited sets, it'll be double that for a total of $50. Also, if you have a low budget and want to do a home recording we can work out an arrangement for that too - price subject to complexity of the entire process.
I've updated some old tracks that I transfered from analog to digital. Now they're purely digital.
Finally, I'm ripping out new multi-tracked shit like nobody's business. So I just added a new track a few days ago and I have two more to just link to (they're already uploaded) on the music page (http://infinitegravity.net/music.html)
So after a month, here's my blog entry. I've gotta find a seven-string axe to do battle with now... It never ends...
