Yeeeeeeaaaaahhhhh maaaaaaaaaaaaaaannn! I hooked up with two new Shure SM58's for kickass stereo recording. Couple that with two 30 foot cables and I'm in business! You want to add to that with two highly extendable tripod microphone stands - aaaaaaaaawwwwwww shit! Now all I need is a laptop! Eh, maybe a few paychecks away there...

I also picked up a few odds and ends like drum sticks, an extra pack of bass strings, a new instrument cable and a few 1/4" to RCA adapters to add some monitor speakers (that I already have from an old panasonic stereo).

They've got this Yahama electronic drum kit that had a sticker price of $850 but that thing was hot! One of the dudes working there was messing around and playing some funky beats. I had my son with me and he was dancing about the place. Yeah, he was quite cute to watch and the dudes there seemed to think the same. I told him we were going to daddy's toystore!

I love hooking up with new equipment, especially when times are rough. Still, I have a ton of work to do. Peace!
