Just when I thought I'd be getting things together more quickly, life has to jump up and steal all my time. The bottom line is that I haven't had any time to work on my site or any of the content. I have been messing around with some additional graphics for my site, but I'm having a hell of a time getting things the way I want them. I'm certainly not a professional graphic designer so I guess it's understandable how much difficulty I have, especially when it comes to erasing backgrounds and such. It's weird how images look two-tone on a web page, but then when I magnify the image in PSP9, I do a color count and get sometimes hundreds of colors embedded within a graphic. And here I only try to get them to be two-toned, but the two colors I desire instead of what I find. I'm seriously considering creating the graphics from scratch to avoid the aggravation of manipulating pre-existing images. It's a good thing I have a regular 9-5 job because I'd never get paid at this rate. Even though this stuff is challenging for me I really enjoy it and sometimes I'd rather just isolate and work as opposed to running off to socialize, etc.
